Festivals
Our third annual festival of folk dance, music and song is bigger and better than ever. At least 30 international, Morris and local dance groups performing at eight town centre locations - about 300 dancers and 60 musicians.
A fantastic day for the whole family including a Kids Zone in Westbury Gardens with a fun fair, storyteller, Punch & Judy, join in dances, face painter and lots of childrens activities. Dont miss our 10 tall giant Jack In The Greens grand arrival in Lamb Yard at 11am. Hell be touring the town œgreening� visitors to herald in the summer. There are Mummers plays, a free concert in St Margarets Hall, a pagan arts and crafts fair, over 30 stalls in our local artisan market, a town window dressing competition, A Jack In The Green town trail and a Community Zone. Great food and drink in the towns pubs and cafes, several with live music.
