Event Details
We are delighted to announce that Carterton's annual May Day Fair will take place this year on Monday 1st May 2023 between 10-4 on Carterton's Recreation Ground (OX18 3JH).We have lots of exciting things planned for this year and we hope it will be the biggest and most exciting one to date! There will be lots of stalls and attractions including fairground rides, refreshments, go-karts, vintage cars, a scarecrow trail, entertainment and a dog show. With lots more to be announced the closer we get.
In 2022 we had over 70 charity & commercial stalls and this year we hope to have even more, including in our large craft marquee.
Bookings are now open for stall holders so if you would like an outside pitch or a table in our craft marquee please email cartertonmayday@gmail.com for a booking form.
There will also be a large Car Boot sale for anyone who would like to come along and sell their unwanted items. If you would like a car boot there is no prior book and you can turn up on the day (entry between 9.30-10). It costs £10 per car or £20 if you are a commercial seller.
This event is organised by the local branch of Save the Children Fund, with all profits from the event going to help vulnerable children all over the world, including here in the UK.www.CartertonMayDay.co.uk
Car Parking Information
Customers: There is a free town car park adjacent to the field however, we do recommend you use public transport where possible. More info and directions to the car park can be found on our website: www.CartertonMayDay.co.uk
Stallholders: If you book an outside pitch they are 5m x 5m, which allows enough space for a standard gazebo and a car. If you book a craft marquee table you can enter the field to load & unload but your car must be moved to the free town car park before 10am.
