An Introduction To Cybersilver Jewellery Designs By Sue Cybersilver
If you're looking for jewellery which is a little bit different - something you won't find on the high street - you've come to the right place. I work predominately in silver, copper and semi-precious gems to create original, often one-of-a-kind pieces of jewellery. I'm particularly influenced by the natural world, with hares, foxes, butterflies, dragonflies, flowers, leaves and vines featuring quite heavily in my work.
Each piece is lovingly handcrafted by me in my Oxfordshire studio, using traditional silversmithing techniques. I especially enjoy working closely with customers on a more individual level to create unique, commissioned pieces.
A custom made item of jewellery is not as expensive as you may think and I am more than happy to work with you on any design, and to any budget you may have in mind.
I create unique, often one-of-a-kind, rings, pendants, necklaces, bangles and earrings using traditional silversmithing techniques. Turquoise, emerald, ruby, labradorite, moonstone, amethyst and garnet are just some of my favourite stones, and I particularly enjoy working with raw, uncut gemstones.
Each piece is made with care and attention to detail and commissions are welcome.
I am a gold member of The Guild of Jewellery Designers and also a tutor at my local Arts Centre teaching silver jewellery making at weekend workshops and evening classes.
I have also been lucky enough to win the Cookson Gold jewellery design competition three times and to have been featured in The Bench magazine, summer 2013.
