Hello my name is Kate Dulson.  I established Family Matters Events in September 2014 with the aim of supporting local businesses through organising a variety of regular themed events all year round ranging from small social functions to family fun days!!

The concept of the business started shortly after I began organising events to raise money in memory of my daughter Phoebe Hope who died in 2012. 

As a company, Family Matters Events make a donation to the charity CDH UK following an event to help raise awareness of the condition and to keep my daughters memory alive.

Previously, I have organised a Halloween themed party, Christmas Fayre, Wedding Fayre and Wellbeing event.  Future events will certainly include more family themed events.

I also provide low cost advertising opportunities for businesses by offering advertising space in programmes which are distributed at each event. 

Businesses will also soon be able to advertise on the Family Matters Events website, again at a very reasonable cost. 

Family Matters Events under 5's event is coming up on 4th September 2015.

This event is ideal for families with children aged 5 and under. Are you looking for local groups or fun activities to participate in with your child? Come along and find out what is available in the local area. This is a great opportunity also for local businesses to showcase their products and services for the Under 5's category. Fun activities will be available during the event, including arts and crafts, face painting and soft play. More details will be revealed shortly!! 

Admission is £1.50 (parent & child) Drink and snack will be included in the price!

I am specifically looking for stallholders and local businesses to promote their services and products at this event which is aimed at families with children under the age of 5. 

A fun morning for children to include, soft play, face painting and arts and crafts.
