Set in the beautiful surroundings of Chalkwell Park, Southend on Sea, the Festival of Southend on Sea promises to be an exciting mix of quality craft, food produce, food and drink exhibitors, a health, healing and well-being area, fun fair rides for the kids, live music and more...

Our events feature the best we can find in local music and family fun entertainment and have a go's. Our marketing is top notch and our social media campaigns include exhibitor mentions and interactions.

All pitches are on grass and for craft, health and well-being and food produce, the marquees are provided. For food catering and alcohol, with many exhibitors now having trailers, we expect food caterers to provide their own unit. Set-up day is on Friday 26th May and access is from 7am on festival day. Exhibitor car parking is provided but will not be adjacent to your stand. We welcome traders to demonstrate their products on certain pitches throughout the day, and our team will liaise with you on this and add these into our program.

Exhibitor camping is also available and is only a short walk from the festival site.

In 2017 The Borough of Southend on Sea is 125 years old , Southend is also the Alternative City of Culture for 2017 and the Festival of Southend is part of a programme that will celebrate the 125th anniversary as well as all that is great about food,drink, crafts and music.

The organisers of the festival, Southend Carnival and Food Festivals Ltd, view this as a long term project and will be investing in it year on year so that it becomes an event that attracts both foodies and family visitors alike. With the high quality of food and craft that this region offers, we hope to attract exhibitors of such caliber so that the event becomes a showcase of Essex's finest.There is parking for stallholders that is very close to the site. Parking for visitors is on street. However, the event is very close to the town centre and is on major bus routes and train links.
