Event Details
A village event that has upwards of 3000 visitors. starts with a carnival type procession through the village with marching band culminating on the recreation ground where the floats are judged. The main arena will have displays of Falcons and Vikings this year as well as children's races. There are vintage cars, bicycles, steam engines and tractors. Up to 100 Stalls inside and outside marquees. A pig raost and food stalls are available as well as Music entertainment in the second marquee and fair ground entertainment too. Special displays of invertebrates, snakes and owls in the village hall. The Harwell Feast is an excellent mixture of traditional and modern entertainment.www.harwellfeast.com
Car Parking Information
Free car parking: from 9:00 Customers: Enter the west field from the READING Rd (A 417). Drive SLOWLY(5mph) through the avenue of trees to the end, PARK AS GUIDED. Stall holders directed on site. DRIVE CAREFULLY there are many vehicles and stalls setting up. Enter the Recreation ground from the Wantage Rd. (Off the A417 Carefully drive to your pre-booked pitch for setting up, PARK AWAY FROM STALL IN PREDESIGNATED AREAS.
