We launched the Hythe Food and Drink Festival in 2016 and we are now looking forward to a 4th glorious year of food related fun on Holman's Field alongside the Royal Military Canal. The location is second to none offering a serene backdrop to what has become a busy, bustling 3 days of activity for all ages within an event that is now firmly established as a 'must do' destination on the last weekend before the schools break up for the summer holidays.

We were confident from the outset that we could deliver a successful event in a town that we have strong connections with, but none of us here at the Market Square Group could have foreseen just how popular it would become. Visitor numbers in 2018 were in excess of 12 000 over 3 days with over 50 stalls to keep the customers entertained. We fully expect these numbers to grow in 2019 as we promote to an even wider audience.

Look out also for some very special live music on the stage together with a celebrity guest chef in the cooking theatre. There isn't much we can do to improve the popularity of the Hythe Food and Drink festival but we're going to try!
