Where better to hold a Medieval Fayre than in Sandwich one of the best preserved Medieval towns in England!

So join us for the weekend as we transform Sandwich Showground into a living Medieval encampment. Experience the sights, sounds and smells of a medieval village with tradesmen, gentry, squires and knights.

Cheer on your favourite knight in skirmishes and the high energy live jousting shows! You can even watch an incredible Trebuchet in action, a weapon that first arrived in England in 1216 at the siege of our neighbouring Dover Castle.

Following on from the success of the Medieval Fayre in 2015, this year we will have even more acts, more living history, more fun and all at the same affordable price!

Acts already confirmed:

Knights of the Damned: jousting team.

Sky Birds: birds of prey demonstration.

The Medieval Siege Sociert: living encampment, demonstrations and Trebuchet.



We will be adding to the list so keep checking back for details. We will be announcing ticket sales on this website and on social media. Early bird discounts will be available.

This year we are also running a free music event on the Saturday night. Line up to be confirmed. This is a free event but tickets will need to be applied for in advance.
