Morpeth Fair Day has been attracting visitors to the town for over 27 years. It is the Morpeth and District Chamber of Trades annual flagship event and regularly attracts over 30,000 visitors to the town. With plenty of entertainment, interesting stalls, displays, games, rides and activities, there is something for visitors of all ages to enjoy throughout the day.
As well as offering visitors and residents a great day out, the Chamber is proud to be able to create a retail platform for local shops, independent craftspeople and market traders, as well as giving charitable organisations an opportunity to raise money for good causes.morpethfairday.co.uk/You do not need to display a parking disc on Fair Day (parking discs are not required on Sundays). However if you are visiting Morpeth on the days leading up to or after the Fair Day, you will need to display a parking disc (set at the time you arrive) in the short stay car parks. Parking discs cost £1 each and you can get one from: Dispensing machines in the main car parks Libraries Tourist Information Centres Customer Information Centres Local businesses “ view the businesses who stock the discs here Please note: parking discs from other local authorities can be used. Alternatively, if you do not have a parking disc, you can use a long stay car park where no disc is required. Remember to check the signs, when you park, for more information.
