Sam Pogson Art

My name is Sam Pogson and Im a part-time artist working around my Corporate schedule.

Originally hailing from South Africa, I have lived and worked in the UK and the USA. I now reside in the South East of England.
I love being creative and adding a unique perspective to my work, in order to make each piece memorable.
Since returning to the UK, my work has been inspired by my roots and upbringing in South Africa. I love the multi-culture, the vibrancy, the positivity of the people and the beauty of landscape.
I incorporate the unique flora only found in South Africa into a lot of my work. I also use traditional Shweshwe cloth in my paintings.
My paintings are bright and bold “ and are sure to add personality and colour to any part of your home.
Most recently, I have extended my work into the homewares arena “ using my original artworks on scatter cushions, tea towels, placemats and tableware.
I also make original handpainted ceramic pieces, including tableware, crockery, vases, platters and sculptural pieces.
