Aldenham Country Park (A Free Range Experience) - An oasis of parkland with lakeside walks just 12 miles from central London.
Launched in April 2012 by Aldenham Renaissance, the Park has 175 acres of farm, parkland and woodland, and adjacent to a 65-acre reservoir, for countryside enjoyment, education trips and caters for people with special needs with purpose built indoor and outdoor facilities.
Seasonal Family Fun at Aldenham Country Park
Seasonal fun and Christmas cheer at Aldenham Country Park with activities and experiences on the farm starting on Saturday 26 November to 4th January with fair rides available every day (11am – 6pm).
Santa Pooh at 2 will be greeting visitors and giving out free sweets daily, look for Santa's elves and Farmer Christmas on the trail, learn about Christmas traditions, games and customs.
A “12 Days of Christmas” theme with some Victorian cheer, presents for the animals, arts and crafts and warm up with a bouncy castle at the play barn.
Petting Sessions will have some present-giving for the animals.
The farm shop will have seasonal gifts and delights and all year round eggs from our 195 layer hens.
There are lots of paths to explore round the lake and in the woods and visit 100 Aker Wood to visit the homes of Winnie the Pooh and his friends. Even post Santa Pooh a letter.
There will be fairground rides in the car park and stall holders are invited over the Festive period for a special rate of £30 per stall, per week (or free for “not for profit” organisations).
