A family day out, brim full of activities and medieval mayhem awaits you in the glorious Abbey of St Dogmaels!
Crafting, games, free treasure prizes. Theres archery, coracles, a bouncy castle for the very little; free circus skills workshops and fire eating! Medieval mischief includes splat the rat, milk the cow and our infamous ducking stool and our fall-women Human Fruit Machine Monk-ettes! And look out the Normans are coming! See medieval battle re-enactments and Norman weaponry and garment making demonstrations. You can eat and drink al fresco in our beautiful abbey grounds, bring a picnic or buy excellent grub and grog from the Coach House Café and local producers food stalls. Theres freshly made baguettes, boar burgers or wood fired pizza; locally brewed beers and ciders; cakes and jams, ice creams and freshly made doughnuts. Buy handmade arts and craft treasures from the Crafters Marquee or throw your very own pot. Theres so much to see and do on Medieval Day, so dont joust sit there come and join the fun!
