Now OPEN every Sunday from 8am. It’s the friendliest Car Boot in Suffolk where you can turn up from 8am and I can guarantee you that you can set up in peace. The atmosphere is great and for a Car Boot that is still only three years old it is probably the only Traditional Car Boot that attracts so many Antique and occasional sellers. Because of this we do get a great variety of bargains.
As everyone knows we do have the Covered market stalls at Stonham which have been a huge hit as you don’t need to bring a table. As well as restricting rain they also offer welcome shade in the sun. These do run out but you can book them by texting me. Something that may also appeal to sellers is the fact that we allow sellers as much space as they wish. You only pay for vehicle size not space taken. £10 is the most we charge for a large van. We don’t discourage Commercial sellers but, it’s a traditional car boot and we seem to get many people that just seem to come for the venue and a bit of fun. We are also different to most other Car Boots as we have people coming to Stonham to visit the other attractions and we all know that no one can visit without peeking at a Car Boot.
Sellers tend to arrive at 8am onwards (although you are welcome earlier if you must) as Stonham really wakes up after 9am with the shops and attractions also opening at 10am.
The covered stalls are great as you can pull up & set up on the provided stalls (table included) and sell and then pack up (hopefully lighter) and leave the stall behind. The Covered Stalls are £10.
Alternatively, we are still the cheapest Car Boot in Suffolk so, we still offer the uncovered pitches. So turn up at 8am onwards set up and sell for £5 a Car, £7.50 a Van or £10 a Large Van. Stonham is very different to other venues as we have so much going on as we are not just a Car Boot. There are lots of Shops, Golf, Fishing, Camping, a Garden Centre, Owl Sanctuary, Holiday Park, Men & Ladies Fashion, Serpent House/Pet Shop and lots more with a whole range of new exciting things opening in 2015. We also have two showground’s with regular events, permanent loos and free parking for all.
Stonham Barns Car Boot is still the one to go to if you want a completely stress free day without the buyers climbing into the back of your car. We pride ourselves on the fact that you can set up without being hassled by buyers. It isn’t allowed at Stonham. We start slowly but, once all the shops and attractions are open you get a good steady crowd. Dogs are welcome and we get a great mix of all ages. Make sure you pop by whatever you are doing as we do get some great bargains. Everyone loves the atmosphere of the Car Boot and it’s a good crowd that never seem to haggle over things.

A History Of Stoneham Barns
Stonham Barns is very different to other venues with everything from Golf (practice + 9 hole course) to an Owl Santuary. Other attractions include a Toy, Jewellery and Fashion, Fitness Centre, shop, Sheds, Post Office, Gardening Centre, General Stores, Home & Cane, Hairdressers, Equestrian Clothing, Dog Training, Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom Design. In addition to this there are regular shows and events at the showground. Check Stonham Barns for events and also a Holiday Park.
There is also Crazy Golf and a permanent children’s play area as well as permanent toilets and showers. We are also free to enter for buyers.
