Telford Christmas Market will be returning in 2024!

The confirmed dates for Telfords Christmas Market in 2024 are trading from Monday 25th November – Monday 23rd December 2024. This gives a total of 29 trading days, as always, we will aim to allow access to set up several days before the commencement date and breakdown of your allocated chalet will be in the evening of 23rd December along with the following day.

Year on year this event brings back regular traders and will also attract new - to the pedestrianised leisure district - Southwater which is adjacent to Telford Shopping Centre.

To those who have not been before, Southwater is a relatively new and purpose-built leisure area in Telford. Opening in 2016 which is when Retail Alternatives introduced Telford’s first Christmas Market – growing and developing the event, year on year.

The Market will take place up and down Southwater Way, from the busy entrance at Telford Town Shopping Centre to outside the Town Centre’s Library and Council office SW1 - we will have a small fairground and our Giant Tipi Bar positioned adjacent to SW1 on the fountain area which will naturally increase footfall and dwell time in the whole area throughout the duration of the event.

We are looking for a several quality traders, hot and cold food, craft, giftware, and everything in-between to fill a few small gaps that we have on the event this year.

Trade will primarily be from our custom-built heavy duty German Chalets which will all be matching and decorated with LED garlands. Our chalets are either 3 or 6m wide. Other than our chalets - we are happy to consider incorporating vintage vehicles into the Christmas Market that have been converted such as horse boxes and Citroen H van’s if they are of good quality and can be dressed to match our Christmas theme.

As always there will be a security patrol on all day, throughout the evenings and overnight and the whole area is covered by CCTV meaning it is as safe as it can be to leave stock, fixtures, and fittings in the chalet for the duration of the event.

We are able to be very flexible in arranging on-site meetings to go through the layout of the Christmas Market and to discuss options, locations and to understand what offer it is that you can provide and to give you any more details that you may require.

There are several prime location chalets available, right next to the Shopping Centre available for craft and home-made craft which will be heavily subsidised for Traders who can trade for the whole term.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch at your earliest convenience to discuss the rent being charged this year and if you have any questions or queries about trading with us whatsoever. Bookings will only be guaranteed with 50% of the total fee paid, based upon the rent charged and new for this year, a set fee charged for each electrical supply that is required.
