The Woodlands Country Show 2015 is set to be a great weekend with so much to see and do. The show is packed with exhibits, activities and entertainment for all. Families will be able to experience a fun packed day out with an amazing range of countryside activities. Theres everything from falconry displays to ferret racing and from chutneys to chainsaws! There are live demonstrations and have-a-go areas. The Crafts marquee and trade stands will be offering a wealth of treasures and theres a wonderful array of food and drink to tempt you. A family show is not complete without some entertainment, music and refreshments.
There really is a huge variety of delightful attractions to appeal to both rural and urban tastes. This is a show not to be missed!
For this years show weve brought together the best features of all our previous events to create something special. With over 500 events, 20 years of experience and a great team behind us, we cant wait to bring Hampshire and the surrounding areas another fabulous event in 2015.
Building on the many successful years with our Queen Elizabeth Country Park Show and our South Downs Wood Fair & Country Show, were delighted that 2015 finds us growing in size and on the move to a great new location, Royal Victoria Country Park, also in Hampshire. We have given the event a new name, Woodlands Country Show. Were giving the show a fabulous new look for 2015, without losing any of the great things from our previous events and incorporating some great new and exciting extras.
Directions:
By car: Follow the brown tourist signs from Bursledon on the A27 or from Junction 8 on the M27.
By rail: By train to Netley station on the main Southampton to Portsmouth line. The back entrance to the park is a 5-10 minute walk from the station. Follow the signs outside the station car park.
By Bus: Bus no. 6 goes to Netley Village from Southampton. From the village, follow the brown tourist road signs into the park via the main entrance along the coast road. For more details, please contact First Bus (tel: 023 8022 4854).
Red Rocket A from Eastleigh or Hamble stops in Netley Village, please contact Solent Blue Line (tel: 023 8061 8233).
On foot: Pedestrian access points, other than those described above, are available via the Solent Way and the Hamble Rail Trail.
